Parking at Christmas Town Valkenburg

If you cannot come by public transport, but you are wondering where to park your car, the Municipality of Valkenburg has a promotion. You can reserve a parking space on the busiest days in Christmas Town Valkenburg. This way you immediately drive to your reserved parking space in one of the parking lots. If you park somewhere other than the reserved parking spaces, pay via the Easypark parking app.


You can reserve a parking space from November 15, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
A limited number of parking spaces have been reserved in the following car parks: Parking Parcourse 2, (walking distance to the caves 850 meters) and Parking Cauberg (walking distance to the caves 1,200 meters).

Accessibility by bike

Do you live within cycling distance, frequently explore the region by bike, or are you staying somewhere nearby where you can rent a bike? Then come to Christmas Town Valkenburg sustainably by bike! You won't need to search for a parking spot, and you'll be able to move around the city flexibly. You can park your bike at Walramplein, the station, and at bike parking spots in the city center. Tip: During Christmas Town Valkenburg there is a free guarded bicycle shed at the Nieuwe Kerk on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Where can I park my coach?
It is best to drop off and pick up your passengers at the entry and exit stop at the P Odapark-Margrietlaan. Always switch off your engine when stationary and do not let it idle unnecessarily. Opposite the boarding and disembarking stop, a large parking lot has been reserved for coaches. If this parking lot is full, a parking overflow will be set up on the Cauberg. You can only use this on the instructions of the traffic controllers. 

Tip! Book your pairing ticket for your coach in advance for €25.00. If you do not book your parking ticket in advance, you will be charged €40.00 on site for parking your bus.
